Our first step to creating our blog was to choose a layout and a name. We decided on the name "umasshype" in hopes to interest UMass students in events and activities occurring on campus.
New to Blogger, we then attempted to learn the ins and outs of layout design during class. We got a better idea of what the blog should look like once observing the Journalism 300 blog created by Mary. We then created tabs for different categories that we would later add on to.

We officially posted one of our first works from the class on the blog! Anxious to see what the response will be, we look forward to posting our next article and adding on to the collection on the blog.
We are also looking up events to post on our events tab.

At this point, we have added a post to our "Greek Life Buzz" page, which is our page of choice, and have continued to add more to each page at different points. By next week we hope to have more of our own articles put up and will hopefully have a slideshow included by next week!

We just uploaded some new articles and fixed the homepage! Still working on how to perfect the slideshow.

Our final touches to the blog included finishing the slideshow, adding a work from each assignment that either of us contributed, and final editing points! Creating the blog was a great experience and we are so glad we got the chance to put our work out there!
